STEP # 1:
Open the files attached with the mail with .SLX format
STEP # 2:
Type this command

>>power_wind_dfig_det

A window of DFIG model will open just close it, We only need the values of .mat file it composed of

STEP # 3:
Now type these commands

>>set_param('MPPT_GO','AlgebraicLoopSolver','LineSearch')

>>set_param('withoutMPPT','AlgebraicLoopSolver','LineSearch')

STEP # 4:
Now open Simulink and open your both .slx files

Run and simulate both models

IMPACT OF MPPT

Let's discuss the impacts of MPPT as follows

After completing the steps above, Run withoutMPPT.slx and observe second window of scope the peak first reach to the maximum output of wind turbine then it fluctuates due to changes in

Wind
Pitch
etc..
in our case its max value is around 4000 to 5000 watt.
Then open MPPT_GO and observe second window again now there is a shoot due to startup conditions and after very few time the output gets stable at its max value that is 4000-5000 watt.
This is an impact of MPPT.

In picture above a spike is shown in second window of scope which first reach to max value then drop down in case of no MPPT

Where as in first window of scope the output is stable around max value with the help of MPPT
